Under the umbrella of “Help, This Wasn’t in the Book!” I am inviting you to feast on a morsel of scripture to sustain you for the week. Sundays offer the opportunity for refreshment as we gather in worship and commune with our family in Christ. However, we all know that by Monday afternoon, reality sets in and we find ourselves ravaged by the energy spent struggling with Earthly circumstances.
I invite you to consume Monday Morsels as a means to savor God’s word and allow it to strengthen you for the unseen battles lying before you in the days ahead. Print them out and hang them on the fridge, bookmark the page on your PC or pull it up on your phone as needed. It’s a morsel: small enough to remind you to “Taste and see that the Lord is Good.” and large enough to nourish your hungry soul. Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” (John 6:35).
