Trusting God With “If”

IF

Small word. Huge implications.

It can either weigh us down or be the catalyst for flight.

In the throes of worry and fear, “if” hinders our ability to hear God’s voice. It dangles before our eyes, preventing a full vision of what actually lies ahead. It has the potential to paralyze if we let it wield it’s power the wrong way.

Yet, within fear lies trapped possibility.

What “if my worst fear came true? God is present

What “if” the door to my dream opened? God is present.

“I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.” Romans 8:38-19

What is your “if”?
